VOLTSIGNAL PRO

EV Buyer Leads·30 Days Earlier

Find Florida homeowners likely to install an EV charger before they call any contractor. We score every address 0–100 from six legal public-data signals — solar permits, panel upgrades, HOA EV applications, utility programs, EV showroom events, and public charger density — then rank your weekly direct-mail list.

Six legal public-data signals,
combined into one score per address.

No one signal is enough. Combined and weighted, they identify the homeowners most likely to call an EV-charger installer in the next 30–90 days. Built on Florida public records — DMV registration data is federally protected and never used.

☀️ +30 PTS

Solar Permits

Solar customers are 4× more likely to buy an EV in the next 18 months. The strongest single legal signal in our model.

+25 PTS

Panel Upgrades

Homeowners pull 200-amp service upgrades 1–6 months before the EV. The earliest legal indicator we track.

🏘️ +25 PTS

HOA ARC Applications

Florida Statute §720.303(2) makes HOA architectural review minutes public. EV charger apps appear there 2–6 weeks before the building permit.

🔌 +15 PTS

Utility EV Programs

FPL EVolution Home, Duke Energy, TECO Drive Smart, OUC, JEA, KUA, Keys Energy, NSB Utilities — eight FL utilities run active EV programs we track by zip.

🚗 +10 PTS

EV Showroom Events

Test-drive RSVPs, EV expos, Tesla service-center openings. New showrooms spike adoption 200–300% in the surrounding 5-mile radius.

📍 +5 PTS

Public Charger Density

NREL AFDC station density confirms an active EV neighborhood. Useful for the secondary pitch — "you have an EV but no home charger".

EXCLUSION (CLOSED ONLY)

Closed EV Charger Permits

An address is only excluded if its EV charger permit is closed, finaled, or completed — meaning the install actually happened. Open or in-progress EV permits stay in your list and get flagged with a ⚠️ — those homeowners are mid-process and may still be evaluating contractors. You see the full picture; every other contractor working off raw permit lists doesn't.

🧠 Bring Your Own AI.

Your account, your model, your bill. VoltSignalPro plugs into the AI provider you use — paste your key in Settings and we'll classify every Florida permit semantically with ~95% accuracy instead of fragile keyword matching.

CivyxIQ never sees, stores, or proxies your key. It lives only in your browser tab. Roughly $0.001 per 1,000 permits — pennies for what would otherwise be hours of manual triage.

01

Scrape

VoltSignalPro hits 287 Florida public-permit portals across 11 platforms (Accela, EnerGov, eTRAKiT, Citizenserve, iWorQ, and more). Solar + panel-upgrade + EV-charger permits, all in one pass.

02

Classify

Your AI of choice — Claude, GPT, Gemini, DeepSeek, or any model on OpenRouter — reads every permit description and classifies it semantically (solar / panel / EV / unrelated). No rigid keyword matching that misses "Service Change to 200A" or "Tesla Wall Connector". Bring your own API key in Settings; we never store it.

03

Score

Stack solar + panel + HOA + utility + event + charger-density signals per address. Subtract any address with an existing EV permit. Sort, tier, export. Open in Excel or print mail labels.

Frequently asked.

Short answers. Email us if anything's missing.

What does VoltSignalPro cost?
During the closed beta the app itself is free with a beta password — we just ask you to bring your own AI key (Anthropic, OpenAI, or OpenRouter). AI cost runs about $0.0001–$0.001 per 1,000 permits depending on which model you pick. Public pricing for the app lands when we exit beta — likely a per-month subscription with a county-volume tier, similar to PermitSleuth (the sister product). After beta we'll also offer in-app AI so you don't need your own key. DM us for beta access.
How is this legal? DMV data is protected.
Correct — DMV registration data is federally protected by the Driver's Privacy Protection Act. VoltSignalPro never touches it. Every signal we use is on the public record: building permits (open public records under Florida Statute §119), HOA meeting minutes (public under §720.303(2)), utility program enrollment (aggregate zip-level data only), public event listings, and the federal AFDC charging-station database.
What states does VoltSignalPro cover?
Florida only at launch. We chose Florida because (a) it's the second-fastest-growing EV market in the country, (b) Florida Statute §720.303(2) makes HOA records uniquely transparent, and (c) the state has 287 indexable permit portals already mapped by our sister product PermitSleuth. Other states will follow once the FL signal mix is validated.
How accurate is the scoring?
Scoring is rules-based and deterministic — every signal contributes a fixed point value. The accuracy question really applies to the classifier (deciding which permits are solar vs panel vs EV charger). With an AI model reading the permit description, we hit ~95% classification accuracy where keyword matching gets ~30%. Bring your own key — we support Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI (GPT), and OpenRouter (Gemini, DeepSeek, Llama, Mistral, anything). Your key stays in your browser session only; we never store it. The keyword fallback is still available if you don't want to use any API.
Can I export the leads?
Yes. Every run produces a CSV (open in Excel) and a branded PDF report (cover page, summary stats by tier, full address list with signal emojis and dates). Mail straight to the property address — no owner name needed.
How often does data refresh?
On-demand. You pick the date range when you run a search. Most contractors run weekly with a 90-day rolling window — Monday morning gives you that week's HOT (≥80) leads as your direct-mail list while every other contractor is still working off old data.
Who's behind VoltSignalPro?
VoltSignalPro is a CivyxIQ product, built on the same infrastructure as PermitSleuth. We've been mapping public permit portals across the US since 2024.
